CounterPoint SQL Dashboard provides a unified, graphical interface that allows you to monitor performance throughout your business. Dashboard presents a visual snapshot of various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), giving you a “bird’s eye view” of different areas of your business. With Dashboard, you can quickly review current and past performance, allowing you to better manage your business.

The Dashboard includes separate pages, or views, for a variety of performance areas, each of which displays the KPIs — also known as metrics — that are relevant to that particular area. The Dashboard graphical interface also couples well with CounterPoint SQL's Featured Reporting Tools.

For example, the CounterPoint SQL Dashboard Day page shows daily activity across your entire company for a selected date - including the number of tickets, sales dollars, gross profit, profit margin, and average ticket amount for that day.

Similarly, the Dashboard Period page displays KPIs for a specified time period (e.g., week, month, season, or year). You can click on a specific period to display the actual data for that period. The date specified in the date selection field is the end date for each period. You can select a different date to update the available periods and refresh the visible KPIs.

The Company page displays KPIs, yearly trends, and the ten top-selling categories over the previous six weeks. You can select a specific metric (e.g., sales or profit) in the key indicator selection table to view the last twelve month trend graph for that metric. The Dashboard Company page also allows you to select a different date to view the KPIs and graphs for other periods.

The Dashboard Store page displays KPIs for individual stores in your company. You can select a store to view the key indicators for the selected store and date and the top ten category sales based on last six weeks graph for that store. You can also select a store and a metric to view the last twelve month trend graph for the selected store and metric. In addition, you can select a different date to view the KPIs and graphs for other periods.

The Dashboard Vendor page allows you to review relevant KPIs for your vendors. You can select a vendor to view the specific items ranked by selected vendor and trend by selected vendor graphs for that vendor. You can also select a different date to view these KPIs and graphs for a different periods.

The Product Dashboard page displays KPIs for items arranged by category. You can select a category from the category selection pie chart to display the item contribution ranking table and the twelve month trend graph for the selected category. Once again, you can select a different date to view these KPIs and graphs for a different period.

The Marketbasket Dashboard page displays items that were sold together on the same ticket for the last six weeks by store, by item, and by category. By tracking the sales of related items, you can more easily identify profitable cross-selling opportunities and make more informed merchandising, purchasing, and pricing decisions.

Each page presents relevant KPIs as a series of gauges, meters, and graphs, using a familiar color-coded system. By establishing performance targets and thresholds, you can control when each performance indicator goes from green (good) to yellow (marginal) to red (problematic). By monitoring the various KPIs that are available, you can quickly see which areas of your business are doing well and which ones require your attention.
